Count the unaccountable

The sun poured through my window. Another day had dawned ,bringing in new hopes and aspirations. I wonder how and where these poets gather such relevant adjectives defining the most pleasing and gratifying mornings ,while the REALITY is way too far 🤣. The most heart touching mornings starts in the kitchen with your wife or mom in dilemma. Yes , I now see the smiles 😄.. This is what I have seen in my childhood and this is what I’m going through.

The dilemma is all about , What would you like to have for breakfast ?? Most of our morning starts with such dilemma’s , so do you think we are going to be free of such confusions throughout the day.😄

This is not just confined to the mom’s at home , all of us begin our day with dilemma , surprised about this , just rewind and watch the tricks mind plays even before we open our eyes. It was YOU who decided the previous night to wake up early the next morning , it was YOU who decided to hit the gym at 6:30AM in the morning , it was YOU who decided to go for a walk , YOU who decided to study the difficult course early in the morning. The decisions we make ourselves are broken so easily before even we could wake up to the rising sun next morning.

Just imagine how powerful our decisions are supposed to be , but unfortunately we aren’t aligned strong enough to our own decisions , whom are we waiting for ?

We end up doing NO DECISIONS in our day to day and when that situation is just awaiting us , how can one expect to make that PERFECT DECISION.

Survey speaks of reasons why one would hesitate making decisions..

  1. Indecisiveness — The person may have made NO DECISION of his/her and has always been among the group supporting majority.

2. Decision making comes with responsibility and the one who accepts is the show stopper

3. Fear of going wrong — Most of us fear of the consequence. What if the decision goes wrong , how would the external reactions impact the subsequent decisions ? The judgemental factors associated with the failure ratio, etc.

Running away from your problems is a race you’ll never win.Take a decision and make it right” — Our decisions at a moment is based on the demand of the situation. It may or may not turn right , however an attempt in the making of decision sufficiently boosts the confidence and helps approach subsequent decision with more caution.

Great scholars have been teaching us on ways to improve our approach to life . I would love to present this mind blowing story narrated by Gaur Gopal Das.

A man was once lost in the desert. The water he had preserved for his journey was completely exhausted. He had no other option than to search for water otherwise which the chances of survival was too minimal.

For his chance , he just found a torn hut , he rushed towards it to notice if it was a hallucination or if it existed in real. To his surprise , the hut existed and also had a hand pump. He stormed towards the pump and tried hard to see if he could get some water , but absolutely No Luck 😒. To his amazement , there was a bottle filled with water at the corner of the hut. Desperately he rushed and opened it. A paper fell out mentioning

“Use this water to start the pump. Don’t forget to fill the bottle when you’re done”

The man remained confused , what if the pump still dint work on pouring the water ? what if the last few drops of water left in the bottle goes out of hand ? This is the question of life and death. However , the man took a leap of faith , poured the water into the pump and to his shock water came gushing out more than he could use. He was pleasantly satisfied , quenched his thirst and as instructed filled the bottle with the water. He added his own statement beneath the instruction

“Use this water to start the pump.Dont forget to fill the bottle when you’re done. Believe me , it works”.

Many of us may not be confronted with such situations where we have to choose between the LIFE and the DEATH.However , the choice may be between “The good and the good” OR “The bad and the good”. Count the accountables , applaud yourself for every accomplishment of the decision. For the unaccountables , never give up until you reach the FINISH LINE.

“Weighing the effects of consequences and Willingness to bear aids DECISION MAKING. If the decision is correct , you motivate many others with your stories, in case the decision goes wrong you still empower people talking the experiences, realizations and mistakes leading them the way to their RIGHT CHOICES

Taking DECISION and standing by it is far better than staying CONFUSED.
